During winter the La Vigne Educational House Blazer is to be worn at all times, and during summer the learners are to arrive and depart from the school premises with their blazers on.

Learners are to wear their blazers at all formal school functions, and should a learner be wearing their school uniform in public, their blazers are to be worn.

School uniform is compulsory from Monday to Friday for all High School learners.

PLEASE NOTE

All clothing items must be clearly marked with the learner’s name.

General School Rules

  • Ensure that learners wear the correct school uniform and look presentable at all times.
  • We ask parents to prepare healthy food snacks for their child’s lunchbox every day.  No sugar confectionery items are allowed, except on Fridays.
  • Learners will not be allowed to be collected by any 3rd parties unless previously arranged with the school, with written consent from the parent.
  • In the case of absenteeism, please notify the school no later than 08h00 on the day of absence. We need to keep record of all attendance. If your child is absent for longer than three day or missed a formal assessment/ exam, a doctor’s certificate will be required.
  • Learners must pursue their studies and school work with dedication, honesty and integrity.
  • Learners must respect all school property.
  • All electronic equipment including, but not limited to, cellphones, tablets, smart watches and electronic games/ toys are not permitted.
  • Learners must attend school regularly and must attend all classes during the school day.
  • Learners must respect other learners. No discrimination and/or bullying will be tolerated.
  • We educate our learners to respect each other’s individuality and uniqueness.
  • Learners must respect all the personnel at the school.
  • Learners must know, obey and respect the school rules as stated in the Code of Conduct.
